Pacific Judo & Ju Jitsu Academy was founded in San Jose, CA in 1949, making it one of the oldest martial arts schools in the nation. For over 60 years we have provided members of our community with a traditional school in which to learn effective self-defense and strive towards self-improvement. Our students (or parents of our younger students) are always amazed at the positive change our training has on their lives. This is not only due to the nature of the arts, which require development of internal qualities as well as external skills, but to the dedication of the instructors to the development of all their students. This has also been possible because we have created an educational structure to our school that goes beyond the usual scope of business and profits.
